The Waddell House, a new build by Strukt Architects, sits right on the water. White render, timber battens, cantilevered terraces hovering over the canal. From the outside it's clean and considered. Step inside and it gets interesting, timber cabinetry, zellige tile fireplaces, marble everywhere it counts, and a colour palette that feels both bold and completely relaxed at the same time.

The brief was simple: capture the home in full for the client, the architecture, the interiors, the details, the mood. This took time due to the scale of the building, each room with its own unique detailing. Working alongside architect and impromptu stylist Ashleigh Basson, who brought an effortless eye to each space, we spent the day chasing light through batten screens and finding the moments that do justice to every corner of this exceptional new build.
